Ascogaster albitarsus
Description
A large, rare and dark species with largely ivory-colored hind tarsi. The antennae are long, with the basal half orange in color. The clypeus is either without or with two small denticles. The metasomal carapace is long, with straight sides and is widest past the middle. The fore wings usually have a distinct dark band or spot below the stigma.
Biology
No hosts are known.
Distribution
Known from Sweden, Poland and Ireland, but appears to be rare.
