Chelonus inanitus
Description
A large member of the “Inanitus group”. It is easily recognized by the long, saber-like ovipositor, distinct indentation at the apex of the metasomal carapace, red hind femurs and roughly rugose body. Besides the red legs it is mostly black, usually with two large and rather square pale spots at the base of the metasoma. Antennae of female are short and almost horn-like.
