This key covers almost all
Adelognathus
species that are known to occur in northern Europe (except
A. aciculatus
) as of 2024. It is almost entirely based on Kasparyan’s dichotomous key due to the low amount of available literature. There are therefore large holes in the data which have been filled in with all available options for a given step. Results should ideally be double-checked with the source material or an expert.
Males are excluded because many species are known only from females. Refer to Kasparyan (1990) for a partial key to males.
