The recorded hosts are Cnephasia asseclana, Coleophora anatipennella, Mompha conturbatella, Mompha conturbatella [Epilobium angustifolium], Mompha epilobiella, Mompha epilobiella [Epilobium hirsutum], Mompha langiella [Circaea lutetiana], Mompha locupletella, Mompha locupletella [Epilobium alsinifolium], Mompha locupletella [Epilobium montanum], Mompha locupletella [Epilobium tetragonum], Mompha ochraceella [Epilobium hirsutum], Mompha propinquella [Epilobium tetragonum], Mompha sturnipennella [Epilobium angustifolium] and Mompha subbistrigella [Epilobium montanum].
Distribution
Known from the Palaearctic realm with records from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Czechoslovakia, Finland, France-Corsica, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania and the United Kingdom.
